Secrets I've learned...
I’ve learned so many fantastic makeup tips and tricks the past years, and decided I had to share my favorites with all of you.
Lesson No. 1: Spend some bucks on your tools
To me, tools and products are equally as important as the makeup skills that you have. Use the proper brushes for application. Sensitive skin? Use synthetic brushes.
Lesson No. 2: Prioritize Skin Care
I can't stress this enough, but keeping your skin hydrated is extremely important. Not only does it help your skin just look and feel better, but your makeup will glide on. So moisturize, moisturize, moisturize... (My preferred brands: Uriage & Lierac)
Lesson No. 3: Less is More
I believe that bringing out a woman's natural beauty and true self by enhancing her unique features will make her look and feel like an even better version of herself.
Lesson No. 4: Don't be a pumper
Pumping the wand in and out of the tube only pumps air in. This makes the mascara dry out more quickly than it should.
Lesson No. 5: Think Hygienic
I shampoo my brushes with baby shampoo. Then, I lay them flat to dry overnight. Love, Gaëlle Verspeelt
